    AOA Sir, Do MS Access and MS Sql Server Management work same?

      Conceptually same but if you are using C# or VB.NET then you will find difference.

      For example, you can use stored procedure in Sql Server but not in Access.

      We use System.Data.SqlClient namespace for SQL Server BUT use System.Data.OleDB for Access.

      For Connection object, in SQL Server we use SqlConnection while in Access we use OleDbConnection.

    I have develop a complete inv management system with inovative features using VS 2005(.Net) & SSMSEE 2005, but still lack some capabilities e.g
    1. appropriate approch for connection strings whether to use in module or in app.log and how to call it in code.
    2. How to avoid defining connection strings when transferring application to other machine either in development or in production stage.

    3. Deployement/Publishing with dynamic handy controls for users to take ask for dependicies, database backup, disk to select etc.
